Real Estate Event Manager|
Manages the hospitality and event services programs and staff for assigned premier commercial real estate assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and fosters relationship with meeting planners and tenants by creating, coordinating and executing tenant community events. Develops and coordinates concierge program and other convenience and hospitality services for the property.
Oversees and coordinates scheduling of conference facilities and meeting rooms for the property. Consults with clients to determine event needs such as space, physical set-up, AV and technical requirements, catering and other event support.
Promotes conference center and event management services to current tenants and other prospective clients. Prepares tenant newsletters, electronic blasts and property marketing materials. Updates community portal. Participates in marketing discussions and plays integral role in prospective client tours.
Develops budgets for scheduled client events. Solicits competitive bids from external service providers as needed to meet event requirements. Presents recommendations and budget proposals to client for approval.
Prepares reports to summarize service and conference center utilization for property management team. Analyzes costs/benefits and market trends as basis for program recommendations.
Supervises concierge services and other event support staff responsible for event budget forecast and reconciliation. Ensures property condition issues are corrected through timely submission of work order requests.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year program, preferably in Marketing or Hospitality with a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in event management or hospitality services. Intermediate understanding of commercial real estate property management preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real estate license preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on general topics to clients, employees, tenants and public groups.
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis. Prepares and manages project budgets.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with desktop, graphics, and presentation software and technology.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
