California University of Pennsylvania invites applications for this tenure-track faculty position, Department of Earth Sciences. Candidate will be an outstanding educator who can integrate classroom, technology, field and laboratory approaches to teaching geosciences. Candidates must demonstrate experience working with diverse populations.
Rank and Salary: This is a tenure-track faculty appointment. Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic preparation and experience. An excellent fringe benefits package is included.
Job Summary/Basic Function: The successful applicant must be capable of and committed to effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities, continuing scholarly growth, and service contribution to the University and communities.
Additional responsibilities include involvement with departmental, college-wide, and university committees. Also, in accordance with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and APSCUF, the successful applicant might be assigned to perform work at off-campus sites, in the evening/weekend college and/or provide instruction through online and/or other distance education methods.
