Financial Literacy Program - "FREE" Tell Somebody
Class 01 July 9,11,13 (7-9p.m. w/ 15 minute break)(13th 7-9:30p.m.)
Better Community Inc. in partnership with Future Church of Christ Holiness USA pledge to support Summer Jobs+ by providing 200 youth ages 16 to 24 training throughout the summer. We will provide youth in Richmond, Virginia with workshops on financial literacy, resume writing and interview skills. Seminars on financial literacy will use the “Cashflow101” educational tool developed by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad for Kids, and will focus on budgeting, credit, cash flow, eliminating debt, investing, and business ownership. Throughout the program, Better Community Inc. staff members will be encouraged to develop a mentoring relationship with youth participants. Additionally youth can opt-in to a free one week training program to explore careers in the travel industry. Training includes booking cruises, flights, special event, luxury hotel and resorts.
